He was born December 15, 1976 in Riverside, California to Jody Uhrich.
Danny received a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2013. He taught band at Lied Middle School in Las Vegas, Nevada from 2014-2017. He last taught at Whitney Elementary for the 2017-2018 school year. Besides teaching, Danny was a professional Tuba and Bass Trombonist for many groups and shows in the Las Vegas Valley. Danny was part of the Nevada Pops, Walt Boenig Big Band, the Dynamic Trombone Quartet, Brass Roots Quintet and various other touring headliners and private gigs.
Danny enjoyed music, a lot! He enjoyed the rush that a live show brings and the compliments he got afterwards. He enjoyed nothing better than one heck of a brass section, especially the one that was there for the Star Trek Convention. He also enjoyed home cooked meals and going to the movies with his friends and family. He was extremely intelligent, quick witted and had a great sense of humor.
He was survived by his mom, Jody Uhrich; sister and brother-in-law Katie and Walt Pittman; aunt and uncle, Mary and David Sowder; aunts, Jill Uhrich and Nancy Gould; and cousins, Rachel and Ben Gould. Most live in Henderson, NV.
The memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., August 22, 2018 at Palm Mortuary.
