Debbie and I dated and at one time lived together. We also worked together in the surgical/open heart ICU at Sunrise Medical Center.Debbie had a heart of gold.But, she also struggled with drug addiction.May she rest in peace.

Debbie you will be remembered ever year at the 1973 Granite City High School reunion. I am in charge of the Classmates Memorial that we share every year at the reunion. I am glad you enjoyed your afghan I made you just wish you would have gotten to enjoy it alot longer. You will never be forgotten. You were such a beautiful, sweet person. RIP. My name is Karen and my husbands name is Michael.  AKA next door Debbie's neighbors.  We moved to Las Vegas almost 11 years ago.  That is when we met Debbie.  We would like everyone to know that Debbie was the best neighbor anyone could ever ask for.  We shared a lot of ups and downs in our lives with Debbie.  We took care of Hailee and Jack when she had to go away on her trips for work or vacations.   We met so many wonderful people from Debbie's life in the past 10 years.  I enjoyed going to dinners, plays, Christmas at the Smith Center and so many events she held at her home over the past 10 years.   Debbie had the biggest heart anyone could ever have and was always concerned about others.  She  had everyone's best interest in her heart, always. Michael and I will miss her loving  smile dearly.

I met Debbie last year when my cousin Niko, her one and only grandchild was born.  She welcomed me into her home and life so gracefully and genuinely. She loved Niko so much, this baby was her world. I am missing you Deb. You are  an angel from god, that has been called home to soon. I will miss our conversations/texts and you’re signature wink. We will forever miss you and Niko will remember how much you loved him and cherished his little life.  You brightened up many lives and your love spreads so wide, a beautiful mother and grandmother to Aaron and Niko. They miss you so much. May you Rest In Peace. Love you GMA 🙏🏽💕🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊

Aunt Debbie was such a sweet person to me.  She was a fun and spirited person. She always encouraged me, and was a person that I knew was cheering for me! Enjoyed listening to her tell me family stories, especially the one's she told about her mother and father.  Loved spending time with her at the Pontoon Music event.  Certainly will miss her!! 

My Aunt Debbie was always so helpful to people. I remember us having celebrations for my grandmas birthday just randomly. I missed having the holidays at her house. I feel bad that we have hardly seen each other before her passing. I feel a lot of regret for not being there enough. I could only hope she is a better place. This is the last picture I could find where she was with me and it was a surprise birthday party. 

Every memory I have of Aunt Debbie, every time I picture her in my mind, she's always smiling. I think that was one of her greatest qualities. She could light up the room... Always happy, always enjoying life to the fullest. She loved her family deeply and always made time to see them, even if it meant traveling across the country to visit.  I'll miss hanging out with her at the "party at the beach" celebration every year and sitting around Grandma's living room or out on the swing in the front yard talking with her. She touched so many lives and spread her love to so many people in her lifetime, both in her occupation and her personal life, that I know she will be forever missed by many. Love you Aunt Deb, and I know you'll be smiling down on us until we meet again.

I have many good memories of my aunt Debbie. I remember every year when we came to Granite city for vacation, I slept in her room looking out on the lake. I also remember the goth thing I thought she was so cool. I will always keep her in my heart. She was always there for me when I called and she will be missed dearly. 

Debbie was my aunt and we shared many a memory together. When I was younger she would take me to Starbucks and get a little frappuccino for me I felt like a real grownup. She is the reason for my great love in life, coffee. We would always tell each other about fantastic coffee shops to go check out and would have a nice girls day or night out drinking coffee. My favorite memories with my aunt were all of our bite of Las Vegas outings. It happened once a year usually in September and in July or whenever the tickets became available for purchase she would pay for me and her ticket as a birthday present to me. This day long music festival would be my once a year escape from stress. We would go from 10am to 10pm and just lay on her blanket in the park soaking in the sun and just enjoying each others company. She started this tradition in 2011 and this will be the first year without her. I will never forget her and her beautiful heart and how much unconditional love she gave me. Wherever she is now I hope she is happy and at peace.  I love love love you Debbie <3

Have to say my best is growing up and being at Grandmas and watching all you and your friends do all your gothic stuff. You was gothic before gothic was cool. The times you babysit for us and of course the Party at the Beach. Love you and until we met again.
