Dino Eugeñio Browne was called home to be with the Lord on October 22, 2024.
Dino was born on October 3, 1966 in Manhattan, NY to Dr. Louis R. Browne and Carmen O. (Knott) Browne of Panama. His parents expanded their family to include brother Robert, sister Natasha (deceased), and sister, Samara while they resided in Co-op City in the Bronx, NY. It was here where Dino and family attended Mount Vernon Seventh-Day Adventist Church (MVSDA).
As a promising eager to learn young student, Dino attended PS 178 Dr. Selman Waksman Elementary School and IS 181 Pablo Casals Middle School. He later attended and graduated from the Bronx High School of Science. During these formative years, Dino honed his skills as a baseball player while trying to emulate his childhood baseball heroes from his favorite team, the New York Yankees.
After high school, Dino attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge Massachusetts. It was here that he became a revered member of service through his dear Theta Iota Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated. After completing rigorous collegiate coursework, Dino graduated from MIT with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, with a concentration in Management and Finance.
Subsequently, while attending neighboring schools in Massachusetts, Dino met and later married his college sweetheart, Renee Brown, from UMASS Amherst. The two were often staples at various worldwide jazz festivals and sporting events. Their loving union in matrimony proudly produced two outstanding children, a daughter, Daryn Reese Browne and a son, Dean Orren Browne.
Upon completion of his studies, Dino started his long standing career as a management consultant. He worked in the field for many corporations including Mars and Co, Diamond Technology Partners, Inc, Newry Corporation, and George S May. While working diligently, Dino provided project management, consulting, and financial guidance to many well known brands throughout the United States and abroad including Frito-Lay, Coca-Cola, RayBan, Bausch and Lomb, PepsiCo, Boeing, Wells Fargo, and many more. Dino last served as the Executive Director of the Innovation Center for Entrepreneurship at the Las Vegas Urban League (LVUL). Here he led grant funding, technical assistance, and strategic planning workshops to provide resources, mentorship, management education, and encouragement to minority small business owners seeking innovative solutions to meet their needs.
