Donna Lee Stanley

Donna Lee Stanley, 92, Las Vegas Nevada, died on February 7th 2024, after a 4-month duration of time in hospitals and rehabs, and one month of homecare through Hospice.. She put up a good fight but eventually succumbed to her illnesses.

She was born in Omaha Nebraska, July 6th 1931., to Earl O.Johnson and Alice Bengston Johnson. After graduating high school in Omaha, she married Richard Eugene Stanley, and eventually moved to Arvada Colorado. They bought and ran a nursing home facility , Queen City Nursing Home, until they were divorced in 1967. She then moved on to Woodman of the world as a personal secretary and finally retired in 1992 from Public Service Energy in Colorado. In 2003 she moved to Del Ray Beach, Florida ,then moved to Las Vegas in February of 2022

She is survived by her four children, Richard Eugene Stanley Jr of Henderson, Michael Allen Stanley of Sandpoint Idaho, Kathryn Ann Weiss of Brenham, TX., and Randall Earl Stanley of Henderson. Five Grandchildren Richard lll, Talena, Sabrina, Christopher, Nathan. With 6 great grandchildren Mason, Autumn, Addy, Brook, Paul, Heidi- Rai.

A celebration of life will be held for Donna on March 2, 2024 at 1pm

It is believed that a cardinal represents a loved one who has passed when you need them, or miss them the most your dear ones will pay you a visit a cardinal visit at times of celebration, as well as despair-letting you know that they are always always with you.
