Douglas Owen Carter

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas Owen Carter on January 28, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Doug was born on June 1, 1943, in Pasha, North Dakota. He served our country for 21 years rising to the rank of Captain in the United States Air Force. Upon retiring from the Air Force, he continued his career in accounting. Doug was also very creative enjoying photography, drawing, painting, and writing poems. Moreover, Doug was a committed husband; and nurturing, loving, and devoted father.

He is survived by his daughters Donna and Margaret, sons Patrick and Robert, and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Patricia, his wife of 40 years; Angela Carter, his wife of 10 years; his son Christopher; and grandson Kaiyu.

A visitation for Douglas will be held Monday, February 24, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A funeral service will occur Monday, February 24, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A committal service will occur Monday, February 24, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
