

Erwin Ernst Eberle, 80, passed away suddenly Sept 25, 2015. Born Dec 9, 1934 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Otto and Anna Eberle, formerly of Germany. Erv attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison where he received his degree in Engineering. Following his graduation in 1956, Erv moved to Calfornia to begin his 39 year career at Rockwell International Rocketdyne Division in Canoga Park. From the Atlas to the Space Shuttle main Engines, Erv received many accolades and awards signifying his very accomplished career. As the Director for Combustion Devices, he was instrumental in the design and development of the injectors used on the Space Shuttle Main Engines. Erv retired in 1995 and has been a Las Vegas resident for past 17 years. Erv was preceded in death by his parents, sister Marianne Gavlitta of Wisconsin and other family members. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Patricia C. Eberle of the home, daughter Denise of Mt. Washington, CA and son Rod (Pati) Eberle of Simi Valley CA, 4 grandchildren: Alyson, Nicole, Adam and Samantha all of CA, twin sisters Jean Grimm of Madison WI and Judy (Peter) Seidenshur of Little Rock, AR and many cousins nieces and nephews. A loving and generous man, he will be missed by his wife, family, friends and his dogs Jake & Rudy. A celebration of life is pending.
