

Florentino was born March 14, 1939 in Cebu City, Philippines to Raphael and Eulalia Ocampo. He fell in love and found his soulmate and partner for life at the age of 28 when he married Evangelina and bore two wonderful children, Judith and Gerald.
He finished his college degree in accounting at University of Southern Philippines. He worked at Cebu City Hall majority of his life and later on became the manager of Bayanihan Multipurpose Cooperative, a livelihood that provides financial assistance to it’s members in times of crises. This was one of his many accomplishments.
Florentino was a good family man, very dedicated to his wife and children. A man of integrity, respect and honesty. Above all he was kind hearted, always ready to help when needed. He loved to watch his favorite movies and the daily news. He was fond of watching the NBA season. He had a wonderful smile that could light up a room.
He is survived by his wife, Evangelina; her children Bambi (Judith) and Gerald; in laws Dr. Santos Yu and Fitzie; grandchildren Lexie and Sophie; siblings Thelma and Wilfredo.
Funeral service will be held at 4pm, on December 20, 2017 at Palm Southwest Mortuary. His remains will be cremated and be brought home by his wife Evangelina.
