He then moved to Fontana, California working as a teacher for Frisbee Jr. High in Rialto. He studied to become a Test Engineer for General Dynamics in Pomona, California. His interests included track & basketball, karate, pencil drawing, prospecting, metal detecting, and bicycling. But anyone and everyone who knew him would
Know without a doubt, that music was his passion. He sang and played keyboards performing at clubs, weddings, parties, and for family and friends. He loved singing, playing the piano, and writing music. That was most likely the reason he began a new chapter in his life and moved to Las Vegas. He worked as a floor supervisor at Treasure Island. He made many friends and enjoyed karaoke in his retirement singing to his heart’s content.
Frank D. Gallegos Sr. is survived by his sister Virginia Fierro, his brother in law Manuel Benites, his daughter Lori Stuart, his son in law Scott Stuart, his grandchildren Christina Jackson and her husband Quintin, Kimberly Gallegos, Miranda Stuart and Matthew Gallegos. He also had 2 great grandchildren Nathan and Elena, Frank was caring, kind, very intelligent and a truly talented artist. He was a wonderful and loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will truly be missed. He has now joined many lost family and friends including his favorite dog Lizzie.
