Gay Ward Fannin

Gay Ward Fannin, 87, of Las Vegas Nevada,a resident of 66 years, passed away on April 27, 2023 after a three year battle with Leukemia. She was born in Worthington, KY on March 20, 1936 to William Arthur and Polly Ward. She married her high school sweetheart, David Fannin in 1952. David was employed by EG&G and worked at the Nevada test site for 36 years after serving 4 years in the US Air Force. Gay was employed as an administrative secretary for the Nevada Department of Rehabilitation retiring in 1988. She was proceeded in death by her son Gary and her husband David.

She is survived by her three children, son Glenn (Buffy), daughters Janet Gallegos, Kathleen (Christopher Cook) . Grandchildren Brynn Cassidy, Conner Fannin, Megan (Eric Montgomery), Kristina (John Jones). Greatgrandchildren Cade Cassidy, and Hailee Montgomery.

Gay was loved by all. Services will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S.Eastern Ave Las Vegas, NV 89123. Visitation will begin at 1 pm, a service will be held at 2pm with burial following at 3pm which will include a short graveside message and prayer.
