Gerard D Raimo

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerard D. Raimo, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who passed away at the age of 78. Born in Newark, New Jersey on July 29, 1946, Gerard was the son of Anthony and Angela Raimo. He was predeceased by his sister, Maria, and her 2 sons, his nephews Joe and Rocco Danise. Gerard was survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Penny Raimo, their two daughters, Debbie Reale and Nikki Vento (and her husband, John Vento), as well as his six cherished grandchildren, Nico Reale (his wife Maddie), Aliana Reale, Giana Vento-Mabeus (her husband, Boston), Daniela Vento, John Vento, and Gabriela Vento. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Nico and Lexi Reale.

Gerard had a deep passion for life and an even greater love for his family. His warmth, generosity, and sense of humor touched everyone around him. Gerard was also known for his love of singing, which brought joy to his family and friends throughout his life.

He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his kind spirit, and his love for music. Gerard’s legacy will live on through the countless memories he made with those who were fortunate enough to know him.

A visitation for Gerard will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 21, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 2300 Sunridge Heights Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89052. Gerard will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
