I first met Grace when I moved to Las Vegas. I will never forget the girl sitting on the rock next door to my new house. Grace being my neighbor was the best. I remember the first day we met, we had a pool noodle fight in the moving van! I will never forget the smile that came to my front door asking to play. I will never forget that curly hair flowing through the wind. I will never forget Grace. She was such a wonderful and kind person. Grace was another family member in our house. She was welcome anytime for anything. The Oliva family will never forget her. Grace will always live in our hearts. I miss you Gracie!

My favorite memory of Grace was when we all hungout at the park with a group of friends. I remember her complimenting my outfit and telling me how cute I looked and that made me so happy. I could talk to her about anything and everything. Grace was a blessing to the world.

I don’t have a photo to add but one of the memories I had of grace was from our leadership disney trip. My group was passing by a water ride and we happened to see Grace and her group getting ready to get off the ride. We waved at them and they all looked up at us. I looked at all of them and when I saw Grace, she was laughing and pointing at her hair to show us how soaked she got. Another memory I had of her was when we went to the shadow day at desert oasis. We were all split into different groups to stay in, and I was the only seventh grader in my group with all eighth graders. But when I was walking, Grace was walking with Porter and she noticed that I didn’t have anyone  to talk to. She came up to me and told me, “You can walk with Porter and I so you won’t be lonely!” and I really do admire her for that. (I also have a video of Grace and her group from that disneyland moment that I was talking about, but couldn’t attach it since its not a photo)

this photo was on winter wonderland. me grace and kamden had the same job but i totally forget what it was. i just remember how me and kamden were talking about pewdiepie and grace was just laughing at us. grace laughed every time she saw me that night because i had on these ridiculous slippers that looked like Mickey mouses shoes. every time i saw her smile it made me smile. i miss you grace!!❤️🕊

where do i even begin ...
gracie was the type of person who would walk into a room and instantly give you a smile. she had the purest, and kindest heart anyone could have. for the year i’ve known gracie, she would only ever put herself before others. something that’s hard to do for most people- but gracie only wanted to let people know how much she loved them. she was such an amazing and wonderful person. my heart is extremely broken for her and her family. gracie was never anything but nice to others. what and why did the universe do this? to the one person who showed the most love out of everyone i know.. as much as we weren’t close, i still felt such an emotional connection with her. she radiated nothing but positivity to me. having her gone now is something that will never leave my heart. all of the compliments she gave me, all of the times she would check up on me randomly, all the hugs she gave me, all were something that i took for granted. she made me so happy in the tiniest ways possible. just her walking into a room made me smile. i remember one time i was feeling down, and she was the first one to come comfort me with the nicest paragraph ever.. which made me feel so special. knowing i was supported by somebody 2 grades and years older than me meant a lot to me. and knowing how much she genuinely cared for me when we hadn’t even known eachother for that long, looking back on it makes me feel so special and happy. i regret not talking to her as much. every second i spent with her was amazing. and it’s something i won’t be able to get back. i am so incredibly heart broken over these news- but i know gracie is watching us, and blessing us every second she can. she was, and still is our guardian angel. 

I was blessed to have Grace in my Leadership class for two years.  Her smile truly lit up a room and our conversations were always so meaningful.  Being her teacher was an honor.  I remember we, (our class), met at the park on a Saturday to Tie-Dye T-shirts.  As I was driving to the park, I passed Grace walking there.  I rolled down my window and pulled up along side her to offer her a ride to the park.  Well, because she didn't know my car, and I was wearing sunglasses, and a baseball hat,(not a normal look for a teacher!), she thought I was a stranger!  She got a little nervous, and started walking very fast!  I decided to just go on and meet her at the park.  When she arrived, and she saw me, she realized I was no stranger!  We both shared a good laugh and I remember telling her that she definitely knew what to do in a "stranger-danger" situation! 
   Grace was a quiet observer in class, but one-on-one, she was full of amazing ideas and plans to save the environment.  She brought me organic, non-GMO granola bars from Sprouts showing her thoughtfulness and heart.  When my papa passed away on my birthday, she wrote me a heartfelt note.  I will miss Grace's heart but know her memory will live on forever in all that she met.  I will always try and smile like Grace.  

Ingrid, I am so sorry that our prayers were not enough. I guess the Lord had different plans for Grace.
Pls let know if/when there is a memorial. I pray for comfort and healing for you and your family.
