In his youth, he loved track and field, drama, was an avid basketball player, and became a coach for San Andres High School. He studied Chemistry at Adamson University in the heart of Manila, Philippines.
On October 27, 1951, he married Avelina Ruiz in Archdiocesan Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament, Santa Cruz Church in Manila, Philippines.
Inocencio and his wife were petitioned by their oldest son to come to Chicago, Illinois where he became a die-hard Cubs fan. Five years later his children would follow, and his family moved to Monterey, California.
Inocencio was preceded in death by his wife Avelina and son Alejandro.
Inocencio is survived by his children Ruzzel, Bo, Maja, Malen, Maroh, and Gary; grandchildren Koritha, Jason, Dianne, Arlene, Jeffery, Lorenz, and Nikkie; and several great-grandchildren.
