James was born in NYC on September 13, 1929 to the late Vincenzo & Francesca Bologna. He was a long time resident of Brooklyn, NY where he and his wife, Tora Jean, raised their family of four children. He was a devoted husband and father, and enjoyed his family and friends (not to mention Baseball 'The Mets' and the horse races). He served in the Korean War where he learned to cook. We were so fortunate because of Dad's service as a Chef in the Army carried over to delicious meals for us - especially those Italian meatballs! He had long career with Schaefer Brewery.
Upon retirement, James & Tora relocated to Las Vegas, NV where they have resided for over 20 years, enjoying the good weather and opportunities there.
James is survived by his wife, Tora Jean; daughter Frances and her husband Nicholas Christiano, Jr.; son Vincent and his wife Deborah; daughter Jean and her husband Gus Pepeto; daughter Christina Bologna; grandchildren: Michael and his wife Rebecca, Nicholas and his wife Nikija, Christine, Courtney, Sarah, and Nicole; great-grandchildren Tyler and Maria; his sister Rosaria Militare; nephew Frank Militare; and his brother Leonard Bologna and his nieces, Fran, Elena and Patty.
