Jim, you will be greatly missed by all.  You were a friend and mentor to many and will be forever remembered by those whom you worked with.  Sharon, always keep Jim close in your heart and he lives on within you.

Sharon I just wanted to let you know that I love you for letting me share  a part of Jim with you. He was a father figure to me besides a mentor and a friend. He meant alot to my life as I hope I did to his.He was a tough cantankerous Irishmen at times but like most linemen when you cut through the jacketed insulation there is a huge heart underneath. I am fortunate to say that Jim showed me that heart. And always gave me his time and wisdom. Jim was a leader he was never afraid to stand up for someone, that's what made him a great Union Stewart. He was always blazing a new trail never following the path of others except for Jesus Christ. Jim did stand for the cross, proudly and honorably he was a soldier for Christ. Jim loved others a lot. He always tried to give people chances to redeem themselves. He loved no one more than you Sharon. When I define a relationship or a marriage Jim's marriage with you is where the bar is set. I never, not one day, heard a negative word come from his mouth about you. He always spoke about you as you were a Queen, his soul mate and I have met few people who were in a relationship like yours. I am 13 years younger than Jim and that gives me hope. Hope that someday I will be able to become the man of Faith, Hope and Love Jim has been to many of us. Today we honor a Veteran, a Lineman, a Husband, a Father but most importantly a Christian who stood tall for Christ Jesus. As a Christian what more could you want said about you. 1 Corinthians 13:11: When I was a child, I talked like a child; I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. NPC was a better place because of him.  One can imagine his greeting at the Pearly Gates with that wry smile of his:  "How you doing?"  So long Jim, you will be missed.
