Jason Max Ono, age 53, passed away on March 30, 2026. Born in Beaumont, Texas, Jason moved to Las Vegas in 1981, where he spent most of his life and built deep roots with his family, friends, and community.
Jason dedicated 25 years of his life to the family business, Eagle Promotions. He was known not only for his strong work ethic and reliability, but also for the quiet strength and kindness he showed to everyone around him.
To those who knew him, Jason was a true gentle giant—a teddy bear at heart. Though he had the look of a biker, he was incredibly caring, thoughtful, and soft-spoken, always willing to lend a hand or offer support when it mattered most.
Jason had a deep love for music and could spend hours listening to everything from oldies and Motown to hardcore metal. He enjoyed watching sports and took pride in his fantasy football success—winning most years, as he would happily remind you. Some of his most cherished moments were spent playing video games with his daughter Abby and role-playing with miniature Disney characters with his daughter Annie, creating memories filled with laughter and connection.
He is survived by his father, Terry Ono, and stepmother, Cindy Ono, and is reunited in heaven with his mother, Linda Sue Ono, and his grandmother, Jeannette. He is also survived by his brother, Sean Ono, and sister-in-law, Fabiola Ono, along with their children, Sean Anthony Ono and Linda Ono.
Jason leaves behind his loving wife, Angie Ono, and his children, Abigail Ono, Annabelle Ono, and Taylor Hicks, who were the center of his world. He was a devoted and beloved husband and father, and his love for them was unwavering.
Jason was taken too soon. His family and friends will forever miss his big heart, his gentle spirit, and the love he gave so freely. We find comfort in knowing he is now at peace, reunited with his mother and grandmother.
