Our beloved, Jeremy Scott Kondrk, age 41, joined the Heavenly Divine on September 26, 2018.

Jeremy was born June 30, 1977 in Allentown, Pennsylvania and raised in Anchorage, Alaska where his fondness of the outdoors molded his passions, hobbies, and the man we know of today. Jeremy enjoyed and greatly appreciated the art of baseball, skiing, fishing, and most of all, admired the tremendous beauty and sense of peace that the water, sand, and various beaches were able to bring to him. This great fondness led Jeremy to many impacting endeavors such as becoming a gold glove second baseman, competing in semi-professional skiing, winning a football state championship, and even a surfing championship at only age 10. Jeremy took great pride in these accomplishments and they will forever be acknowledged in his loving memory.

Jeremy graduated from Service High School in 1995 where he became inspired by his interests in criminal justice. In pursuit of a criminal justice career, Jeremy decided to attend San Diego State University where his love for the beach absolutely flourished. However, while visiting back home during the summer of 1998, Jeremy met the woman of his only child, Jennifer Barnum. Together they decided to pursue a life in Las Vegas, Nevada where they conceived their daughter, Hannah Kondrk, in July of 2000. During Jeremy’s time in Las Vegas, he worked extremely hard and extensive hours managing various car dealerships, enjoying his position on the pro-bowlers tour, teaching his daughter the art of baseball, and most of all, meeting the love of his life, Kristen Gillis, whom loved, supported, and cherished him through sickness and in health.

Jeremy is survived by his beautiful daughter Hannah Kondrk, his loving mother Marlene Kondrk, and his adoring younger brother Zachary Kondrk. Jeremy will never be forgotten and will forever be missed by his family, friends, and loved ones. Please join us in Celebration of Jeremy’s life ‪on Monday October 1st, 2018‬ at Palm Southwest Mortuary between ‪4:00-6:00‬p.m. for the viewing. Jeremy's funeral service will be held from 6:00-7:00p.m at 7979 West Warm Springs Road Las Vegas, NV 89113. In celebration, flowers brought to the service and donations sent to Oceana, in efforts to protect the ocean Jeremy cherished so greatly, will be greatly appreciated.

Janet and I were so honored that Jeremy allowed us to lay hands on him and pray with him for his pain. He was such a sweet man who loved his family and remains alive in them.

My first born son!!!! We have so many memories together and he had the most beautiful smile. My heart is broken into tiny pieces. Jeremy left this world way too soon. I miss his calls and miss hearing his voice. His brother Zack misses his big Bro so much and wants so bad to spend more time with him golfing and laughing together. Jeremy is now in the arms of Jesus free of pain and suffering! Love you hon. MA. ❤️❤️❤️

The last time I saw Jeremy, my friend, Janet Driver, and I went to visit with him in the hospital.
His mama and brother were there as well.
Even though he only knew me as a friend of his Mom and brother, he seemed happy to see us. He didn't feel well but graciously let us pray for him.
We prayed for his healing and now he is healed and in a new forever body!
