He was a proud Union Electrician who worked on many Las Vegas hotels and was able to see firsthand all the changes to Las Vegas.
John loved travelling in his motorhome caravanning with other RV friends and his wife, Denise. When at home he enjoyed partying with friends whether they be White Elephant Christmas Parties, Halloween parties, or hot tub parties.
John was a good person and would not hesitate to help out when he could.
John is survived by his wife, Denise. Together for 53 years they wanted to make sure the marriage would last so they waited 10 years before they got married on April 1, 1982.
John is also survived by his daughter Lisa Odin, his son Brett Bertolami both from North Carolina, and his brother Don from Brawley, CA.
A service will be held at Palm Mortuary on Eastern September 18 at 11:00 am. It will be a casual celebration of life. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in John’s name to a charity of your choice, or just do something nice for yourself or someone else.
