

John Carlyle “Bud” Frawley passed away on March 24, 2026 surrounded by his loving family in Las Vegas, NV. He was born March 1, 1951 to Rosella Genda-Frawley and Francis Michael Frawley in Chicago, Illinois.
They relocated to Swissvale, PA after his Father passed, where he was raised by his mother, went to an all boys Catholic school was an Alter Server in the Catholic Church. John attended SwissVale High class of 1969. He enlisted in the United States Airforce and served in the Vietnam War from 1969-1971. He became a letter carrier in 1973. He married Peggy (Dugan) August 21, 1976 in Las Vegas, NV. He was active in the Army National Guard from 1977-1979 and earned his Associates Degree at UNLV graduating in the class of 1982. In 2013, He retired at the age of 62, after 41 years with the USPS as a letter carrier. He was very active in the NALC Union even after retirement and served as an Officer, Chair for Publicity, and Steward. He earned his 50 year Golden Union member plate in October 2025.
John is survived by his wife; Peggy, 2 children; Dawn Lynn Yoshimori and Heather Lynn Frawley, 3 grandchildren; Gaven Yoshimori, Talan Yoshimori, and Evelyn Bermudez. 1 brother; Michael Frawley, nephew: Michael Frawley and 1 niece: Ginger Frawley . He is preceded in death by his mother, Rosella Frawley and his father, Francis Frawley.
Visitation will be held at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123, US, on April 2, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Committal Service will take place at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Mem, Boulder City, NV 89005, US, on April 3, 2026, from 8:00 am to 8:30 am.
