To the Dodder Family..

I knew Jordon from our time together in the Army when he was at Ft Carson. We deployed to the same base in 2012, he was in a different platoon but we still were around each other daily. From the short time I got to be around him, it was clear he carried himself differently. Calm and as cool as a cucumber, never saw him angry (not for real lol) never saw him scared, or worried or frazzled by any of it. On top of that, he was always happy and incredibly kind to those around him. Which is rare in this world and it’s a crime what has happened to you as his family and to him as well. I’m sending my love from Seattle. Guys like Jordon may be gone, but they will never be forgotten.

When Jordon was in the military, I used to send him packages all the time and one of his favorite thing was my homemade Zucchini bread,❣️
I would mail him playing  cards, bubblegum candy bars, magazines, flea collars, cause they were in the desert and they had fleas in the sand, so they used them on their ankles. He really looked forward to the packages.  This picture was  bread  I sent for his birthday one year 🥳

You and Morgan were hellbent on winning the “manliest of men” competition in the snow with the guys. You always loved the comparison of you and big foot.

The girls were so excited to take pictures next to all the aircraft’s with you!

This is the day you drove out to see your buddy for lunch and took the girls to introduce them to one of your Army friends. They loved trips with dad.

A fun birthday with so many good laughs and memories.

Jordon was determined to finish this puzzle! Mission accomplished the night before we left Big Bear!

Cabin time: one jacket burned in the dryer…check, one crazy sled jump…check, one van stuck in a gutter from the snow…check.

Jordon and Adam might have been a little bitter that Kelly and I could throw an axe better than both of them.

New Orleans didn’t disappoint. Sparkly jumpers, hurricanes, dancing, and pizza on the curb. I think I still have a bump on my head from this trip.

Kelly, my condolences to you and your beautiful family at this difficult time! I worked with Jordan at the Strat! He had the most gentle spirit even when handling difficult situations! If anyone ever needed help or assistance  handling an irate customer he was there within minutes! My heart breaks for the loss of such a wonderful man! There are no words that can express how deeply sad I am! I’m so sorry for your loss! Sending love to you and your family! May God comfort you all and keep trusting Him to heal your hearts! 💕 🙏🏼

A great day with my son Jordon and his cousins Austin and Justin. So beautiful of a day with him.

Jordon spending time with his sister Alyssa in my pool.  I cherish that day and everyday we spent together.

This was so relaxing sitting in his backyard with Jordon, his baby Luna uncle Mike and Grandma Sharon.

This was an incredible evening with Jordon and his wife Kelly in my backyard with his siblings Alyssa,  Zack and Derek, his uncle Mike, Sov and Andrea.

Jordon had drug me off to California to get my next belt level in Kenpo.  I got him to pose with Uncle Mike on the coast. We spent the day the three of us just driving around and sight seeing. That was an amazing time we had.

Jordon so upset when he was just a little guy and I was driving off to head to Desert Storm. My heart broke then. I love you son.

I was able to capture this as he was not the biggest fan of pictures back then but we were living together and he was working with me up at railroad pass. This would not be too long before he joined the US Army.

Jordon loved to mess with his brothers. And he always showed his love for them.

A beautiful day Jordon had brought Kelly to meet his crazy family he loved so much.

I met Jordon playing fantasy football of all things and online was kinda the extent of how I knew him. We’d talk smack about sports , the league and stupid videos. He was a kind of guy that even in something like that he would make you feel like a friend. That’s just the kinda guy he was. He had a sense of humor as messed up as mine and he was so nice he always seemed to lose to me in the fantasy playoffs and then talk smack to me about it. He was a father like me and it was something he loved doing. He always seemed to be able to just adapt and roll with the punches. The world lost a good father husband and friend to many. Prayers for his wife family and kids.

I am so sorry for your families loss. Jordan was an exceptional person. I have fond memories of having him over to my house with the rest of the squad to watch UFC fights together. He was always so much fun to interact with and I will miss him.

He has been in my life since before i could walk and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Every memory I have of him he was always look out for me and my sisters and everyone else he knew. Every lake trip and going on adventures with him to staying home or even playing Pokémon go( that was our thing ). Sad to think I won’t get to make any new ones but I’m glad to say I have some amazing memory’s of him.  I’m very thankful I had him as my dad.
