Betancourt, Jose G., age 88, of Las Vegas, died on May 4, 2013. Born on September 28, 1924 in Chile, he had been a Las Vegas resident for over 35 years. Br. Betancourt retired from Bally's Hotel and Casino after 22 years of service. He ws a member and active participant of the Chilean Club. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Kathy; children Katia Betancourt-Fuica, Ingrid Betancourt-Fuica, Ligia Betancourt-Rios and Gaston Betancourt-Fuica; 10 grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elena Fuica, seven brothers and one sister. A memorial service will be held 12pm Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas.
