From there she moved to Las Vegas where she spent the remainder of her life. That is where Kay, also known to many as Sissie, graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1958 and met her husband, Bill Cromeenes. She and Bill built a life in Las Vegas, raising their three daughters there, and later welcomed four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Kay worked for the telephone company until 1964 when she became a devoted housewife and mother. She later volunteered at Paradise Elementary School and was eventually hired and she spent the next 34 years working at Paradise until she retired. She also worked at the Thomas and Mack Center from the day the doors opened until 2012. No matter where Kay worked or where she went, you would always find her with a bright smile and a kind heart. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and she really enjoyed her work. Kay also loved to travel and could be ready to go at the drop of a hat. Disneyland was definitely one of her favorite destinations, but she would travel just about anywhere, whether by car, boat or plane.
Kay was preceded in death by her father Grant F. Neyman; mother Catherine Liddell; sister Pamela Liddell Gang; grandson George Greco; and her husband Bill Cromeenes.
She is survived by her daughters Debra (Rocco) Poole/Andreassi, Robin Greco and Rebecca (Tim) Jeffery; grandchildren Kayla (Stephen) Poole-Novotny, Timothy Jeffery and Megan Jeffery; great-grandchildren Izabella Marin, Bryson Novotny and Blake Novotny; siblings David Neyman (Eva) and Erin Liddell Cason; and many nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss her dearly.
We will celebrate Kay’s life on Saturday, July 24th at 10:00am, at Palm Mortuary, located at 7600 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
