Kenneth B. Freeman

Kenneth Bryan Freeman, Sr, 81, formerly of Las Vegas, passed away November 26, 2013 in Cedar City UT. He was born to Dewey Freeman and Gertha Redford Freeman December 20,1931 in Driggs Idaho both parents are deceased.  He moved with his family to Las Vegas in 1936 and attended Las Vegas high school, class of 1950. He worked for the UPRR and started his floor covering business,  Freeman Carpet service in 1960  he retired in 1998 .Kenneth loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman he also was a top off road racer winning the SNORE Nevada championship in 1980. He moved to Cedar City UT, in 2003 to enjoy his fishing , humming birds and wild turkeys that would show up to his place every day . He served honorably in the US army 6th infantry.   Kenneth married married  Marian Wood in 1953 and was blessed with four children, Debra R. Freeman Bellver (1954-1995) , Kenneth B. Freeman Jr. (1957), Kevin M. Freeman (1960-2006) and Bekki Freeman Wik (1971) Kenneth is survived by his son Kenny (Kerry) daughter Bekki (Adam) Wik , his grandchildren Day Daniel (Josh), Bryan Freeman (Jess), Cody Freeman and Ava Wik great grandchildren BJ Freeman , Baron Daniel and Olivia Freeman. Kenneth is also survived by his brother Gerald Freeman (Elosia). Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife Marion, his daughter Debbie, son Kevin and brother Joseph Freeman. Services will be at 1pm Thursday , December 5,2013 at Palm Mortuary 7600 S. Eastern Ave with a viewing Wednesday 5-7 pm
