Kristen Michelle Morphis, age 45, of Las Vegas, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025. She was born on March 4, 1980 in Astoria, Oregon and had been a Las Vegas area resident for more than 15 years.
She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from Western Oregon University and worked for the Social Security Administration for more than 10 years. She was an avid romance novel reader and enjoyed traveling and going to the beach. She loved going to car shows and the movies (her favorite movie being the Goonies) and visiting barbeque restaurants while shopping.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Person. Survivors include her husband of 12 years, Mike Morphis; sons: Ryan and Logan and her mother: Elizabeth Person.
A celebration of life is being planned for a future date.
