I’m so thankful Larry was a relentless friend of my Dad! Even after my dad passed away in 1999, Larry continued that friendship with me. I’ll never forget every time I visited Vegas, Larry would insist on picking me up and taking me to the hotel. But then we would cruise for a couple of hours while he showed off his beloved hometown, telling me stories of he and my dad. He’s always try to talk me into a visit to In N Out, and I’d eventually end up at the hotel several hours after my flight. Once Larry took me on a tour of Route 66 in his beloved corvette—One of my all time highlights. I’m not sure he ever stopped talking during that entire ride!. But it was when he dropped by in Louisville to visit me that showed me his love for my dad into the next generation. He gave my young son a ride in that beautiful corvette, and I believe really sparked my son’s love of sports cars. I never had to worry about carrying a conversation w Larry, as he had an endless supply of stories. I will miss his generous spirit, as he made me feel one of the family. I can’t think of a greater compliment than he was my dads friend, my friend, my sons friend and a friend to whomever he met. What a good man!

Rest in peace, Larry. Condolences to Barb and family. Always fond memories of when I was a kid visiting your house or saw you guys at the race track. My Dad and Larry are probably back together in heaven, laughing, playing guitars and taking about corvettes and GTOs!
