Lee Arthur Johnson

Lee Arthur Johnson was born on January 24, 1945, in Ringgold, Louisiana to Lynn and Girtha Johnson. Lee Arthur accepted Christ at the early age of 7 and was baptized at Saint Mary Baptist Church. He lived in Ringgold, Louisiana until he completed high school. Lee Arthur left Ringgold, Louisiana May 6, 1964, moved to Kansas City there after he moved to Los Angles, California.

Lee Arthur joined the Paradise Baptist Church and sang in the choir. Lee was united in holy matrimony to Carrie C. Riley of Los Angles, California. To this union, two children were born Brian Darrell Johnson and Crystal Lashawn Johnson and to this addition, Cynthia Rena Scott. Lee Arthur and Carrie moved to Henderson, Nevada just outside of Las Vegas. They joined the Second Baptist Church of Las Vegas and later joined Remnant Ministries.

Lee Arthur was preceded in death by his parents Lynn and Girtha Johnson; brothers Elton Johnson, James Johnson, Andrew Johnson and Melvin Johnson; sister Dorothy Powell; and his two children Brian Johnson and Crystal Childs.

On February 10, 2025, Lee Arthur rose from this life to a new life with Christ. He leaves behind his loving wife Carrie Cille Johnson; daughter Cynthia Scott (husband Rickey); daughter-in-law Carla Johnson; son-in-law Daniel Childs Sr; grandchildren Katrina Carpenter, Resheda Scott, Rickey Scott Jr, Daniel Johnson, Danielle Childs and Daniel Childs Jr; brothers Louis Johnson and Paul Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

We are thankful for Remnant Ministries for all the years of prayer, worship...and Young at Heart sessions.
