

was the second of four children to Aaron and Justine Cloud. She was lovingly known as “Tani.”
She was preceded in death by her father Aaron Z. Cloud Jr., grandparents Willie, Ollie, Pearlie,
Aaron Sr., Annie, Willie, and Estella, father-in-law Ogden Tatum, uncles Tony, Willie, and aunt’s
Teola and Linda. Raised in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, LeTaniya attended Cleveland Heights
University Heights Schools. From a young age, she aspired to be a writer, creating poems, songs,
and jokes, and enjoyed singing and comedy sessions with her siblings. She was a faithful
Vanguard of Muhammad Mosque No. 18 in Cleveland, Ohio, attending regularly until moving to
Lexington, Kentucky.
LeTaniya married her first love, Sylvester Warren Jr., and had six children: Sylvester III,
Sylvaunte, LeYanna, LeShaun, Sammir, and Sammiya. Despite their separation, they remained
friends until her death. Her love for shopping led her to Romando Tatum in Cleveland Heights,
Ohio. Romando, a single father of two, Romando Jr. & Armando, was embraced by LeTaniya, who
fell in love with him and his children. They married on November 21, creating a blended family of
eight children. They had two more daughters, Sykiya and Syniyla, making a family of ten.
Tani started an in-home daycare in Cleveland Heights, later opening the first Imagination
Station Early Learning Center in Lexington, Kentucky, which earned praise from the Mayor. They
moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where they expanded the Imagination Station Early Learning
Centers, opening locations at Boulder (2015), Sunset (2017), Palace (2018), Russell (2020), and
MGM (2021). Each center provided 24/7 care to local families. Known as Ms. LeTaniya, she
worked tirelessly to ensure the success of these centers, adored by her staff and students,
especially for her vibrant decorations and the iconic train logo.
LeTaniya dropped out of High school, She raised 9 children and still went on to become a
multimillionaire business woman. All while fighting cancer for 12+ years, Stage 4 for 5 years with
a smile on her face. She went through so much in life and has always kept moving forward,
letting nothing stop her. LeTaniya told the doctors to hook her up to every machine they had
because she was never going to stop fighting. LeTaniya continued as CEO until her health
declined, never revealing her pain or mobility struggles. She cherished her MGT Sisters,
especially Shikhanna, Cushanda, Sonatari, Marcia, Thombra, Melanie, Marlowe, Gloria, and
Michele.
She loved entertaining and cooking, making her home the go-to spot for family events.
LeTaniya's love for her family and the children in her care was immense. Her selfless love will
forever be in our hearts. We thank Almighty God Allah for her. Our beloved, devoted, caring wife,
mother, grandmother, aunt, caregiver, friend, and sister, LeTaniya, departed this life on
Saturday, June 8, 2024.
LeTaniya leaves leaves to continue her legacy her devoted husband Romando, children Sylvester
III, Sylvaunte, LeYanna (David Fisher), LeShaun, Samir, Sammiya, Sykiya, Synila, Romondo Jr.,
and Armando. She is also survived by her mother Justine Muhammad (William), sisters DeOnna
Monroe (Jay), ReNatta Cloud (Mark), brother Aaron, aunts Arlene (James), Geraldine Thomas,
Brenda Jackson, Patricia Muhammad, uncles Willie Thomas Jr. (Carol), Michael Muhammad, and
Gregory Thomas, grandchildren David Fisher Jr. (DJ), Raziel De'Amore, and Shyauni, mother-in-
law Shirley Chatman (Leon), brother-in-law Ogden (Verniece), sister-in-law Demetria, lifelong
friend DeJona (Cleveland), aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, special friends, and her
beloved Sisters of the MGT & GCC of the Nation of Islam.
