

Lori Ann Purio, age 60, formally of Wethersfield, residing in Las Vegas, passed away with her family by her side on September 10, 2025. She was the daughter of the late John Mastrio and Maryann Mastrio, sister of Angelo Mastrio, and aunt to Abigail Mastrio.
She is survived by her husband Lee Purio. Her three sons Vincent, Andrew, and Nico. As well as her daughter in law Aileen Purio, her brother in law Louis Purio, her sister in laws Pam Mastrio and Debbie Purio, 5 loving grandchildren, and her loving 3 nieces and 3 nephews.
Born July 17, 1965, she grew up in her hometown of Wethersfield, CT. There she grew up with her Family and friends graduating 83’ from Wethersfield High school. Singing with her Parents group “The Mastrios”. 1987 she pursued her Singing career in Las Vegas NV where she performed all up and down the Las Vegas Strip. Her dream was to have her name on the Marquee in Las Vegas and she did with her band “ Lori and her MC band”.
She became a cosmetologist and after a cosmetologist teacher. After retiring she rested at home with her husband of 29 years Lee Purio and her dog Betty sue.
Lori will always be remembered as a bright, funny, strong, talented, and extremely loving woman. Through the impact she had on all her friends, family, clients, and years of singing and entertaining, she left her mark in our lives. From the age of 4 when her father put her on stage, she sang with power, passion, and proved every time her love for music.
From singing, cooking, her cosmetology career, and all the way to being a cosmetology teacher. She loved to be able to share her knowledge and better her students. She loved being a teacher and loved supporting the people that needed it the most. If you needed her she was there, if you were hungry she was there, and most importantly if you needed a hug she was there. She was filled with love until the day she was reunited with her family above.
Lori left an impact whether it was small or big on everyone she knew. Lori will be remembered forever through all who loved her. She will live on through all those she taught, all those she helped, and all those she loved. We all will miss her voice, her love, her protection, and her cookies.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for live plants that they can nurture for years to come.
