

Lucinda Romero, a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and faithful servant of Jehovah, fell asleep in death peacefully on December 14, 2025. Throughout her life, Lucinda demonstrated deep love Jehovah God and a sincere desire to maintain a good name with him. Her life course reflected her faith, her endurance, and her firm trust in Jehovah's promises.
Lucinda married her beloved husband, Victor Romero, on May 28, 1962. Their marriage was marked by love, loyalty, and mutual respect, as they worked side by side to put Jehovah first in their family life. Together, they built a spiritually centered home, relying on Bible principles to guide their decisions and strengthen their bond. Their union was blessed with eight children. Although a set of twins preceded her in death, Lucinda leaves behind six surviving children: Victor, Janette, Kurt, Serena, Amos, and Isaac. Lucinda's love and influence extended well beyond her immediate family. She was a treasured grandmother to 13 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren.
In 1973, Lucinda symbolized her dedication to Jehovah by water baptism, marking the beginning of a lifetime of faithful service. She went on to serve as a Regular Pioneer for more than 20 years, joyfully devoting herself to the preaching and teaching work. Lucinda found great satisfaction in sharing Bible truths with others and in helping sincere ones come to know Jehovah. Her faithful service strengthened the congregations she was a part of, and she was known for her endurance, humility, and wholehearted reliance on Jehovah.
Married at a young age, Lucinda willingly accepted the responsibilities of motherhood and homemaking. With perseverance and self-sacrificing love, she worked hard to care for her family while keeping spiritual activities a priority. She diligently taught her children Bible principles, helping them to develop qualities such as kindness, respect, and responsibility-values that continue to benefit her family today.
Lucinda also enjoyed traveling and taking time to appreciate Jehovah's creation. She was blessed to visit Italy, Spain, Greece, Hawaii and Alaska. These experiences deepened her awe for Jehovah as the Creator and brought her happiness as she shared meaningful moments with family and friends.
Because of her strong faith in Jehovah's promise of the resurrection and the hope of of everlasting life in Paradise, Lucinda did not fear death. She trusted fully in Jehovah's loving memory, confident that he will remember her and bring her back at the appointed time. Her life stands as a testimony to faithful endurance and wholehearted devotion.
Lucinda will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her loyalty to Jehovah, her love for her family, and her determination to live in harmony with her dedication. Her fine example continues to encourage all who knew her to remain faithful and to trust completely in Jehovah.
