Luis C. Verdugo

Luis was born in Cananea, Mexico on February 6, 1939 to Lamberto Verdugo and Guadalupe Contreras.

Luis is survived by his four children; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Luis found his beautiful wife and soul mate, Raquel Martinez, and they married on January 21, 1962 and were together until her passing in 2015.

Luis worked as a forklift driver for a large paper manufacture in Santa Fe Springs, California for over 35 years.

He enjoyed a few years of retirement before his wife Raquel was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. For over 10 years of his retirement he solely cared for his wife; he was dedicated to her and his marriage vows, till death do you part.

Luis most loved the quality time he got to spend with his family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on March 29, 2019 at Palm Eastern Mortuary followed by a burial at 2:00pm in Palm Eastern Cemetery.
