It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Alice Howe Fowler, a beloved mother, and cherished friend to many. Mary departed this world on September 30, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength.
Mary is now reunited with her loving husband who was her blind date to the high school prom, Rodney Scott Fowler, who went before her. Their enduring love story was an inspiration to all who knew them, and their reunion in the afterlife is a testament to the eternal bond they shared.
Preceded in death by her parents Isaac Alonzo and Mary Myrtle Howe and her four siblings:
Melvin, Joyce, Bessie, and Raymond.
Mary is survived by her devoted daughter, Mary (aka Peanut) Fowler (Jeremy Diamond), who stood by her side throughout the journey of life and when she needed it most as life took its toll. Their relationship was unbreakable, and the love they shared was an example to the deep connection between a mother and her child.
In loving tribute to Mary, we remember a life beautifully defined by unwavering devotion to her husband, daughter, and her cherished family. Her commitment to her church callings exemplified her spirit of service. Mary enjoyed sharing her crafting with those she loved, and enjoyed sitting down to a piano for solitude and peace. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Please join us for a celebration of Mary's life to be held on Friday, October 27, 2023, at
