Maurice W. De Wilde

Maurice William De Wilde, affectionately known as Moe or Poppa Moe of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 19, 2024 with his daughters by his side. He was born November 3, 1941, to Maurice and Marion De Wilde in Chicago, Illinois. Maurice proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Maurice was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Maurice enjoyed spending his free time at any of our local casinos playing his favorite slot machines, hanging out with family, friends and his beloved grand pups NaLa, Zoe Rae & Sophie Rose, playing cribbage, enjoying chocolate milkshakes and watching his favorite westerns.

Maurice is survived by his loving daughters, Denise Rae De Wilde (Walt Lobeck III) and Cherie Anne De Wilde of Las Vegas; brother, Richard (Gail) De Wilde of Nashville, TN.; and numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones.

Maurice is preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years Kathleen B. De Wilde.

A private service will be held at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123.
