Miti Pula, age 49, formerly of Apia, Western Samoa, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada. After immigrating to the States, he met his wife in the fall of 1992 and then, faithfully served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Brisbane, Australia. He later married her in the Denver Temple for time and all eternity. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado.
Miti was an influence for good in the lives of many souls. He always had a smile and hug for everyone. Miti faithfully served in many capacities in his church. He enjoyed life and it showed whether he was making people laugh, watching sports (especially BYU football), deejaying, traveling, staying active by playing sports such as rugby, golf, volleyball, basketball, spending time with his friends and family, eating delicious food and so much more. Miti loved God, the Savior, his family and his fellowmen.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Karen, and his daughter, Alana, and her husband, Cole; daughter, Masina, and her husband, Jaedan; sons, Ionatana and Tavita; grandchildren, Beck and Moon, mother, Lina; siblings Kapenta, and wife, Calynda; Siautu, and husband, Lolopo; Suvania, and husband, Talitimu; Poasa, and wife, Lili; Alesana, and wife, Torrie; and Pafelio, and wife, Sheri. Miti was reunited with his father, Fa’apito, and other departed loved ones “beyond the veil.”
