I only met him briefly, but his kindness and openess was evident when he invited me for a piece of his birthday cake. What a memorable man with some VERY forward thinking ideas.

I have wondered over the years about the Cashman family and what had taken place in their lives since I left Las Vegas in December 2011. I just got a note reminding me of the death of Adam Kay and that brought me to the point of questioning , what about Morgan and Karen Cashman.  I can tell you that I was blessed to have worked with both during my time at a broker office. They always knew that they could call me at anytime to help them or any of their employees.  I am sorry Karen it has taken me this long to reach out. I lost my husband in 2014 after 49 years of marriage so I know what you must have gone through. May the angels keep watching over you. 

I just learned of Morgan's passing and my heart is heavy.  He was always so kind to me and I have years of memories I will always cherish.   Many of my memories are of my departed husband who always enjoyed teasing Morgan (and Karen) about just about everything.  He was always a good sport and the exchange usually ended up with Morgan giving Kevin a big bear hug.  It certainly feels like an era has, tearfully, passed.  My thoughts and prayers are with you, Morgan.  I hope you and Kevin are sharing a laugh.

My memories are not just about Morgan but his brother Harris as well. In about 1989 I decided to treat myself to a new/used car. A little Mercedes convertible was my choice and I answered an ad in an LA paper and met Harris to view what was in reality Karen’s car in Century City. Harris was extremely cordial and entertaining and casually wrapped up the transaction within minutes. Minutes later he had already introduced me to September Sarno (daughter of Jay Sarno; think Caesars). Whom I had lunch with; a very charming and gracious lady. 

Upon retrieving the car 2 days later (at purchase close) Harris handed me the set of keys already encased in gold with my initials placed thereon raised in gold. Harris explained it was the way Morgan did things and that it was really only the right way to do it. Further, he asked me to give him a call if there was any problem with the car and it would be taken care of.  I’m thinking 2 days and to call if I have trouble? And to think I was only thinking of buying a car. I certainly did not expect such a demonstration of style and graciousness.

I was fortunate enough for Harris to introduce me to both Morgan and Karen in Las Vegas (where I lived for a short time) and the effortless style and grace continued whenever I saw them. Always a smile, always an offer for lunch, always a suggestion or offer of help, always an introduction or invitation. And never once did they ask for anything or make me feel I was an inconvenience being a short term resident with nothing of substance to offer them.

I have  rarely encountered such a style and genuine warmth in my life. I had not seen either in years, but their impression upon me was indelible. 

Their presence on this earth is surely  missed.

From my heart I pray for  Karen to find comfort in the memories.

I  first met Morgan at the Suncoast Casino a couple of years ago.  He was so personable.  What gentleman, and he spoke so highly about his wife, Karen.  I have met her as well, and I let him know what a beautiful lady she is.  I really enjoyed speaking to him,  I will miss this man very much.... He left such an impression on me. 

I remember when I met Morgan Cashman the first time: I was an employee of a german supplier of Cashman Photo Enterprises, it probably was in 2002 or 2003. Morgan very quickly became a good friend, and we stayed in touch (and in business) even after I became an entrepreneur myself with my own company.

Over the years I have visited Las Vegas so many times, I don't even remember how often, but it never went without seeing Morgan. He always invited me out to dinner with his friends and family. I remember how I sat in his office many times, and Morgan would always insist that I would eat his banana or his sandwich, that he brought from home for lunch (I must have looked very hungry). 

Morgan once said that if he ever had a son, he would want him to be just like me. This really touched my heart. I always looked up to Morgan. He always was for me the role model of a successful entrepreneur. I really mourn the passing of Morgan Cashman. My deepest sympathy is with his family, Karen, Kimberly and Robert.

I know so many in this city are mourning such a huge loss. I cannot imagine what Karen, Kim, Robert and the entire Cashman family is going through.  Morgan was a mentor and fatherly figure to so many. His company is a family and like a family that loses the father, the mourning will be long.

I mourn the passing of Morgan Cashman and rejoice in the legacy he leaves.  Mr. Cashman accomplished more in his life than most of us have done or will be able to do.  Of all he has done, the most significant I know,  is his respect and kindness for others, regardless of their station in life and his respect for other's viewpoints. He and Karen have given her challenges and opportunities resulting in much confidence and success. The most  eligible debonair, handsome "Playboy" in Las Vegas ! Morgan Cashman was always dressed in the finest suits,  diamond cuff links, gold and diamond  money clip filled with tons of thousands  of dollars.  His thick jet black hair, radiant smile; the Women always ran after him.  Morgan and Harris were the most sought after by the Women not only for their handsome good looks , but the  wealth they projected at the  blackjack tables at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Nev.  A beautiful S.A.G.  Actress named Stacy King  , my Mother, introduced me .  The Cashmans always featured her photos as she was so photogenic.    Stacy King was so glamourous  star of The "Beverlyhillibillies," "Italian Swiss Colony Wine, etc.and the closest to Jack Entratter, Sinatra, Jasper, a dynamic asset to the "Vegas -scene".  Morgan and Harris always treated me with the utmost respect.  Even Morgan expressed for my Daughter Joyce Jones to come in and work for Cashman. I was blessed as a young woman in 1975 over 45 years ago to know Morgan Cashman.    Stacy King had the Sinatra suite for 2 years at Caesars while filming the "Female Jamesbond".  I cried the minute my Daughter, Joyce Jones  saw on Facebook that Morgan passed away.  A handsome Prince of Las Vegas that we all loved and forever will be missed.

So very sorry that Morgan has passed. Such a unique man and precious friend.  Loved his charm and style and very fun sense of humor. And admired his success as a smart and focused businessman. But, what made him so special to me was the honesty and integrity  he had in business and in his life and his kindness and generosity to others.  Morgan Cashman was an impressive man. He will long stay alive in the hearts of many.

I only knew Morgan for less than a year but, he made an indelible mark on me that I will cherish forever, his ability to connect with everyone he met and make them smile, his positive energy and charm is wonderful.  He was so in love with Karen and he would say how blessed  he was to have her in his life.

Morgan was not just my client for almost 25 years, he was my friend and a man I looked up to; for his talent to understand what his customers want, and for his energy which far exceeded my ability to keep up.
It took me years to agree to join his "boy’s night’s out," and I regret having wasted so much time before saying Yes. He made those evenings special and helped take my mind off everything else.
Morgan always made me feel like I was the most important person in the room, even when he had a hundred other things going on. He was an amazing man with a heart of gold and I will miss him.

My heart aches for the Cashman family that I was a part of for 17 years...I remember the first time I met Mr. Cashman back when we just had Foto Forum and I helped Karen open up every Photo Magic going forward.  I remember Mr. C making me ride the Big Shot with him when they were still testing it with sand bags in some of the seats, so many fond memories, I remember riding in his new car and afraid to put my feet on the floor because I didn’t want to get it dirty.  He could make you cry and make you laugh, he was such a good hearted man, a true legend.  He will be deepest missed by so many! Big hugs! 

 Mr C would bring out the best in you at times when you didn’t believe in yourself, and after you raised to thee occasion he would always smile seeing that you found the gift he knew you always had.  You just had to find it within you. Ill never forget that about him-he was strong and wise, and never took no for answer he always believed there was a way, always found one. I will hold that memory dearly of him and always remember “when there’s a will there’s a way”. 

My condolences To The Cashman Family.  Your family is part of my family.  When Stacey and I were in Vegas. We saw the sphere looking object, I  noticed the opening of the CASHMAN PHOTO was to small for my chair. I didn’t hesitate. The opportunity of a PRICELESS MOMENT & a PHENOMENAL MEMORY was about to happen. Everything got Accomplished. We are proud to have a figurine made by THE CASHMAN FAMILY. We will be back soon in September.  ❌⭕️❌⭕️

I remember the first time I met Morgan during a meeting with Karen. I heard he was a ball buster so I was nervous when I saw him enter the room. He stood behind me and put his hands on my shoulders and said; “what is it you want from my wife?” I was speechless but fortunately Karen stepped in and introduced me to Morgan. A few minutes later he insisted we go out to dinner and a 20+ year friendship was born.  

What a legacy, what a man and what a heart of gold!

I remember meeting Morgan for the first time.  The gold pinkie ring, bracelet,  watch... LOL!!   I remember thinking he reminded me of the God Father!  Only Jewish.  The passion for his business, the love for his wife, the stories of his life and journey.  Such a full life, so many adventures.  He had a heart of gold, a love for people, and little hint of innocence that all are good.  Loved this man from the first day to his last.  God Bless you Morgan.  You are a true legend and one I know will not fade any time soon.  You have a whole new audience to tell all your great adventures to. Will miss you my friend...

And the last conversation we had.
It went like this :
I’m not liking getting older as I was showing him my hands.  He was at Bodyspa salon getting his nails done  and we both talked about how we wanted to exit this planet.
We  laughed and we said the same thing we want to go in our sleep.

Good for you my friend . Hopefully my wish will come true as well when the good lord comes and takes me home .

I am so heartbroken to hear of Morgan's passing. He is such a great man, I adored my time working with him and the entire Cashman team over the years.  Karen, Kevin, Kim, Robert, George and everyone of you are in my prayers at such a loss. I have so many great memories from watching one of Trump's first debates at Morgan's house to gambling with him at SunCoast to the amazing years working together, attractions and photo management. Morgan is an amazing human being. My heart is with you all.


My condolences to everyone.  Morgan was a special person, an unmatched entrepreneur of great talent.  He was a strong businessman who was also very kind.  A rare, unique person.  Wonderful.

He took the time to teach me things when he didn't have to do so.  I love and have great respect for Morgan, a true personality and shining bright light.

Morgan was A very kind gentleman. He never was disrespectful to me or anyone that I knew of. I was very young when I worked there but we were friends and i would visit with his mom when I would come over. She was a doll. He was an icon in this town.  He will be missed.
