Norma Lee Friedman

July 22, 1935 - July 5, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norma Friedman.

Norma was born to Rose and Jacob Adler on July 22, 1935 in Weirton, West Virginia, and grew up Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She married Leon Friedman in 1957, and had two children, Brad and Jodi. On July 4, 1973, Norma, Leon, and their kids, moved into their new home in Las Vegas, NV.

As they settled, Norma and Leon became involved in the community through volunteer work. Norma was on the board of the Jewish Federation, as well as Jewish Family Services, and volunteered in the pantry of Jewish Family Services.

Norma is survived by her sister, Leslie Kafka; her daughter, Jodi Friedman; her granddaughter, Leya Kasilian, and Leya's wife, Allysa; her son, Brad Friedman, and his son, Robert Friedman; Robert's wife, Brittany Friedman; and their son, Hudson Friedman.

A funeral service will be held for Norma on Wednesday, July 9th, at 9:00AM at King David Memorial Chapel 2697 E. Eldorado Lane Las Vegas, NV 89120 with reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Leon H. Friedman Scholarship Fund for Jewish Leadership & Values at Congregation Ner Tamid.
