Patrick Lee Meyer, 48, of Henderson, NV, passed peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2014 after a long illness. Born February 28, 1965 in Independence, Missouri. Pat was a loving and devoted husband and father. A graduate of Corcoran High School in Syracuse, NY and earning a Bachelor degree from The College at Brockport – State University of New York, Pat’s love for nature and the outdoors led him to a career as a Park Ranger for the Florida and Nevada Park Services. Patrick was an active member of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. Patrick was predeceased by his mother and father, Sandy and Mike Waters, of Greenville, South Carolina and his sister, Dee Dee Lawson, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Patrick is survived by his beloved wife Annett and son Patrick Jr. A service of remembrance will be held Friday, March 7 at 4pm at Green Valley Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1799 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson, NV. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patrick’s name at US Bank in Patrick L. Meyer Jr.'s name.
