

Patsy Sue (Strong) Kabasan, 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 after a period of declining health. She was born on October 5, 1936 in Krebs, Oklahoma to the late William Henry Strong and Rachel Rella (Bryant) Strong. In addition to her parents, se was preceded in death by her late husband Joseph Franklin Kabasan and brothers John Henry Strong and Richard Byrd Strong.
Pat lived most of her life in Nevada, living and working in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada since 1959. She worked in family-owned businesses including a sundries shop in the Flamingo Hotel, the Flamingo Pharmacy and was co-propriertor of the general store, bar and post office in Lathrop Wells. She also worked for the Clark County School District supervising an elementary school cafeteria. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was full of life and quick to make friends.
She is survived by her sons, William Madrid of Boulder City, Nevada and Richard (Nina) Madrid of Clarkesville, Georgia as well as four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
