Peggie C. Bell

Peggie Bell, of Henderson, passed away August 23, 2015. She was a loving mother of twins, Roderica and Roderick Bell (wife, Kay); son, Israel; and adoring and devoted companion, of 50 years, James Przewoznik. She was born August 18, 1934, to Willie James Wiley and Margaret Wade Wiley. Family circle includes her sister, Shirley Henderson of Chicago; brothers, Bobby Wiley, Lewis Waddell Wiley, John Wiley, Carl Wiley and Archie Stokes; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. As a single mother, Peggie went to school and worked nights so as to best raise the twins. During her 26 years of employment at Chicago Northwestern Hospital, she utilized her PhD nursing skills at many levels from nursing to patient administration. On a personal level, her joy and warm personality and demeanor were emphasized by the over 1,000 people who attended her retirement party. A visitation will be held from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015. Another visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. both at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S.
