Peter Alan Mansky M.D., 75, of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday August 4,2018. He was born January 2,1943 to Annette and Manny Mansky in Utica, N.Y. After spending 61 years in N.Y., Boston, Kentucky, and back to N.Y., he came out to Las Vegas to continue his work in physicians health. Peter graduated high school with high honors and received full scholarships to Cornell University and SUNY Buffalo Medical School. During his early medical years he was also a lieutenant in the Navy serving in the Public Health Service. Peter’s professional journey as a physician touched many lives but his family was always first in his heart. He is survived by his wife and soulmate Susan, adult children Shauna, Michael, and Abigail of whom he was so proud, his beloved sister Daryl, and wonderful grandchildren Kayla, Jewel, Nathaniel, Noah, and Julia. He also leaves behind numerous extended family and friends who will feel the loss. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be on Saturday September 8, 2018 3-6pm with a remembrance memorial beginning at 3:30pm.
