Peter Benildus Samarasinghe, 70, passed away on August 13, 2021 at his home in Las Vegas after a battle with Parkinson's disease. He was born on March 23, 1951 at his family home in Wattala, Sri Lanka to Hubert and Emalin Samarasinghe and grew up in Wattala with his nine siblings. He is survived by wife, Erandathi; his holy child, Nadeesha (husband Mahesh); and his grandchildren, Yonal, Yomal, and Tehan.
A visitation for Peter will be held Friday, August 20, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89113. A service in the buddhist tradition will occur at 5:00 PM with a service in the catholic tradition to occur at 5:30 PM.
