

Ralph was born August 4, 1939, in W. Fargo, North Dakota to Lloyd and Lillian (Egge) Zimmermann. The family moved to Kansas City Missouri, where Ralph met his high school sweetheart, Margaret Stuart. Ralph joined the United States Army in June of 1958 and then married the love of his life, Margaret Ann, November 8, 1958. He was then stationed in Munich, Germany and completed his tour of duty and returned to the States to start his family in North Kansas City Missouri.
Ralph and family moved to the beautiful Salinas Valley in California in 1968 to continue the next adventure. Ralph was a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Salinas Elks Lodge #614, Salinas Moose Lodge, Salinas Golf Club and the Laurel American Legion Post 19, where he enjoyed his numerous lifelong friends whom he loved very much. Ralph loved playing cards, his favorite games included Gin, Cribbage, Pedro, Blackjack and The Slots. He loved playing golf, Fishing in the Monterey Bay, Square-dancing, Bowling and picnicking with Family and friends. Attending and supporting his children and grandchildren's sports teams was very important to him and never missed a game. Ralph and Margaret moved to Kingman, Arizona in 2005 where they enjoyed retirement in Valle Vista.
Ralph "Grampy" will be deeply missed by his wife Margaret of 66 years and his three loving daughters and families;
Cara Lynne Curtis (Greg), Grandchildren, Kyle (Melissa), Violet and Maverick; Bret (Casey) Audrey and Brady; Ian (Ashley), Zander and Zaden; Jordyn (Matt), Scarlette and Gunner.
Suzanne Elise Chaffee (Erich), Grandchildren, Savannah (Dalton), Hunter, Brylee, Makenna; Stephen (Lauren), Waylon and Jackson.
Amy Joelle Harrington (Leigh), Grandchildren, Nolan, Liam, Dustin (Nebrazka) Callie, Coral and Cayd.
Siblings, Bruce Zimmermann (Mary Jo), Mary Hardy and his beloved nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by Parents, Lloyd and Lillian Zimmermann, brother Paul Zimmermann (Sharon) and nephew.
In Lieu of Services, private burial has been held, and donations may be made to the Veterans Association in Ralph's honor.
