Richard was born on February 20, 1942, in Detroit, MI to Zelda (nee Brodsky) and Harry Kay. He is predeceased by his parents and sisters, Andrea Haller and Janice Bronstein. He is survived by his long-time companion, Ronna Dunn; daughter, Lisa Ball (Randle); son, Brian Kay; stepdaughters, Jennifer Gable (Justin) and Rhoda Dunn (Curt); stepson, Brian Dunn (Denise); and seven grandchildren, Elijah Tsao Kay, Zachary Gable, Stephen Gable, Bailey Gable, Bryson Gable, Jordanna Dunn, and Audrey Dunn. A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, August 29, 2025, at King David Memorial Cemetery, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas, NV. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
