Robert Paul Blanchard

Robert was born on December 20, 1934 in Winter Haven, Florida to Merle and Louise Blanchard. He had one sister, Jeanne Mincey.

Served in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years, retired in 1974. Attended UNLV where he received a teaching degree. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

He enjoyed playing Bocce Ball and watching his grandchildren in their activities. He also enjoyed writing short stories of family members and friends.

He is survived by his wife Sylvia, son John and his wife Cheryl, daughter DeLynne her husband Kevin, grandchildren Courtney, Jordan, Chandler, Jacob, and Amanda.

The viewing will be at Palm Mortuary 7600 South Eastern on Friday, December 2 from 3 to 7. Memorial Service will be Saturday, December 3, 1pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church 1730 N. Pecos Rd. with reception to follow. He will be laid to rest on Monday, December, 5 at 12 noon at the Veterans Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada.

Robert will be missed by all his loved ones and friends.
