Robert William Diefenderfer passed away peacefully on October 26, 2021. He was born on August 14, 1929, the youngest child of Damon and Frances Diefenderfer. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He was welcomed into Heaven by his wife, Sara; his son, Glenn; his brothers, sisters, and parents.
He is survived by his daughters Kathy Silvas and Sally Steenbergen; his four grandchildren, Tiffany (John) Ermi, CAPT Stephen (Lara) Audelo, USN, Jefferson (Valerie) Steenbergen, and Amanda (Nicholas) Westerbeek; and 11 great-grandchildren, Shelby, Emily, Ashley, Owen, Foster, Charlotte, Violet, Desmond, David, James, and Noah.
All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Nathan Adelson.
