Robert L. Gonzalez passed away on December 11, 2012 at the age of 82. He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corp before being honorably discharged. Robert is survived by his wife of 50 years Shizuko, son Gene and daughter-in-law Renee, son Bobby, son Victor and daughter-in-law Diane, and daughter Tommie Sue. He has 8 grandchildren, Marissa, Jenna, Brandon, Shaleen, Niko, Justin, Brittini, and Shawn, 4 great grandchildren, Jayden, Preston, Rylee, and Brayden, 1 sister Norma Carideo, and many nephews and nieces. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, going to nearby casino’s to play keno and bingo, and also having home poker parties. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather. He had a great sense of humor that will be greatly missed. His Memorial Service will be on Saturday December 15, 2012 at 11:00 am at Palm Mortuary 7600 S. Eastern Avenue. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice.
