Robert Eugene Rippe

Robert Eugene Rippe was born on February 13, 1938 in McCook, Nebraska to Edwin William Rippe and Verneda Frances Schmid. He peacefully entered into his final resting place at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada on the evening of September 13, 2023 at the age of 85 years.

Robert (Bob) grew up on the family farm about 12 miles from Atwood, Kansas where he assisted in the raising of cattle, hogs, chickens, alfalfa and wheat. He attended Ludell Elementary school in Ludell, Kansas and graduated from Atwood Community High School in Atwood, Kansas. He then attended and graduated from Kansas State University. Following graduation, he made his way to California where he worked as a major developer in Real Estate Investments and Construction. His work took him to various locations in California and Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bob was married/divorced to Annette, in California where they became the parents of two lovely daughters, Michelle and Danielle. Michelle is married to Dan Herschleb and resides in Santa Ana, California. Danielle is married to Jeff Timmins and resides in Loveland, Ohio. They are the parents of Robert's four grandchildren: Lauren Rose (23); Corporal Christopher William (20); Maxwell Robert (17); Audrey Lynn (15).

Bob was preceded in death by his Dad, Edwin, his Mother, Verneda, brothers Clarence, Richard and Ronald. He is survived by his daughters’ Mother Annette, his daughter Michelle (Dan), his daughter Danielle (Jeff), and his four grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brother Victor (Melody) of St. George, Utah, his sister Carolyn (Don) of Gilbert, Arizona, his brother Edgar of Las Vegas, Nevada and his brother Clifford (Sue) of Lenexa, Kansas. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Bob will be remembered for his loving kindness to others. He helped many during his lifetime.

Robert’s eternal resting place will be in a family bench at the Garden of Reflection located at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, California.
