Ruth Susan Kastel, 69, a retired licensed marriage and family therapist, of Las Vegas, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014. She was born on June 16, 1945 in London, England to Solomon and Joan Levy. She is survived by her life partner, Carol Burt of Las Vegas; two daughters, Aida Kastel of Arcata, CA and K.C. Burt of Las Vegas; two sons, Yoel (Karen Bromley) Kastel of Portland, OR and Jonathan Burt of Las Vegas; two sisters, Linda (Richard) and Laura (Mark), both of Austalia; two brothers, Nick of London, England and Stanley of Los Angeles, CA; and three grandchildren, Tehva, Celeste and Eliana. Funeral services will be at 10:00am, Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane. Burial will follow at the King David Memorial Cemetery. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
