Sheryl Acoba Viena

Sheryl Viena, 47, was born on February 26, 1978, in Ilocos Norte, Philippines, to Mariano and Rosalia Yanos. She was raised in Hawai‘i and later became a resident of the Las Vegas area. With heavy hearts, we share that Sheryl, a remarkable woman, loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, went to heaven on November 23, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Sheryl found her soulmate and partner for life at a young age, marrying Mark Viena in February 1998. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised five children: Elisapeta, Cheyenne, Kaitlyn, Matthew, and Isabella.

After graduating, Sheryl began her professional journey as a billing manager and went on to build a successful career as a medical biller and coder for over 20 years. She was dedicated, hardworking, and deeply respected by those she worked with.

Above all else, Sheryl was a passionate and fiercely devoted mother. Family was the center of her world—a value she lived and instilled in everyone around her. She loved cooking and gathering her family around the meals she prepared with care. The love, warmth, and strength she shared will forever fill the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her. The space left by her absence is immeasurable.

Sheryl is preceded in death by her beloved parents. She is survived by her husband Mark, her five children, and her two treasured grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on December 13, 2025, at King David Memorial Chapel followed by a 2:00 PM service at King David Memorial Chapel.
