It is with heavy hearts we share the news that Stephen Willits Carter passed away on January 16th, 2021. Deeply beloved husband of Nadine. Loving father of Dana and Tony; caring stepfather of Stephanie and Randy; doting grandfather of Gavin, Tyler, Cassidy, Hannah, Matthew, Brandon, Molly, and Natalie. Father-in-law of Frank, Amber, Kimberly, and Billy. He is also survived by his sister Susan and brothers John and Jimmy. He was preceded by his daughter Holly and sister Carolyn.
Steve was born in Culver City, California on August 29th, 1941. He graduated from Chaffey High School in Ontario, California in 1959. He was a long time resident of Las Vegas. Steve worked for Host Marriott as a warehouse manager for 29 years. Steve had a love of horticulture and was known for his green thumb. He loved to golf, bowl, travel with his wife, and spend time with his family.
Constrained by Covid-19 protocols, there will be a private family service on Monday, February 15th at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Kidney fund.
Steve was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
