Steven Paul Gibbs

Steven Paul Gibbs was born July 27th, 1958 went to be with our Heavenly Father April 11th, 2026. Steven was born and raised in Las Vegas Nevada by his wonderful parents Delbert and Patrica Gibbs, he shared a joyous childhood with his brothers Scott and John. Steven graduated from valley high school in 1977, he worked odd jobs until he was hired at the Tropicana hotel in 1984, he retired in 2010. He worked security and was admired and respected by coworkers in all hotel departments.

Steven met his wife Evelyn when she began working in pbx at the Tropicana, they got married in September of 1990 after taking the roll of a father to 3 little girls

Elizabeth, Hilari, and Laura. Additionally took on as a adopted father to Sherlyn and years later a father in law to Margie, Steven became a grandfather for the first time in 1996. He ended up being a grandfather to 15 grandchildren. Steven became a great grandfather the first time in 2025 and gained two more great grandchildren in 2026.

Steven is proceeded in death by his father Delbert Gibbs, his brother Jimmy Gibbs and his granddaughters Taylor and Jeannette.

Steven is survived by his wife Evelyn Gibbs, his daughters Elizabeth (Michael), Hilari, and Laura. His 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, his mother Patricia Gibbs, his brothers John (Jane), Scott

(Sheryl), adopted daughters Sherlyn and Margie, his 9 nieces and nephews and anyone who holds his memory in their hearts.

Following services there will be a gathering at Patrica Gibbs home.
