

Tevita Lotu Tausinga, known to many as David, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the age of 84. He worked as an air conditioning engineer, for many years at the Emirial Palace, as well as Bally's and the Las Vegas Motor Speed way. After several months of declining health, David passed peacefully in his sleep at his home surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Patricia Tausinga; siblings Ahoalo’I Pauli, Ema Luisa Manu Bourne and Kiola Lomu; and children David Tausinga, Richard Tausinga, Tubou Nelson, Robert Tausinga and Daniel Tausinga. He was also a proud and loving grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by parents, Tupou Moheofo Hakau and Penisimani Hakau Ve’eve’e Tangimana Taione and siblings Ane Petiola Fifita, Kesaia Hakau, Vela ‘Ae Fehi Longani, Tupou Mou’iheofa Latu and Matealona Hakau.
David’s service will be private and people wishing to honor his life may make donations to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, missionary fund, 4340 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas, Nevada 89118.
